Job summary

Autodesk Research is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work alongside researchers and engineers to shape ML-powered capabilities for Autodesk products.

You will operate in a fast-moving, research-driven environment, solving problems, iterating quickly, and collaborating with AI researchers to implement generative AI features. The role is hybrid, with access to London offices and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning experience.
• Experience in research environments with evolving requirements.
• Proficiency with PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Experience with 3D data (meshes, B-Rep) and 2D/3D representations.
• Experience with version control and deploying ML models.
• Experience using AI/GenAI tools in development workflows.
• Excellent written documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on research-to-product projects with a diverse, global team.
• Build and iterate ML pipelines, prototypes, and evaluation workflows.
• Work with complex datasets for model training, evaluation, and analysis.
• Analyze errors and propose solutions.
• Present results to collaborators and leadership.
