Royal Mail Farringdon is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join the Data & AI team. You will help build, deploy and scale ML systems, collaborating with Data Scientists, Engineers and Platform teams to deliver business value at scale.

You will design scalable pipelines, optimise models for production, and implement CI/CD workflows while applying MLOps best practices across the data community. This is a hands-on, production-focused role in London.

Formación

• Proven experience delivering ML solutions into production.
• Strong Python development skills with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubeflow).
• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining scalable ML platforms and pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Solid software engineering, DevOps and MLOps understanding.
• Experience building and supporting production ML APIs and services.
• Collaborative, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data & AI team and play a key role in taking machine learning solutions from concept to production. Working alongside Data Scientists, Engineers and Platform teams, you'll help build, deploy and scale robust machine learning systems that deliver real business value across one of the UK's largest and most recognisable organisations.

What We're Looking For

You’ll be passionate about turning machine learning models into production-ready solutions and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role delivering machine learning solutions into production.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Kubeflow.
• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining scalable ML platforms and pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud environments including Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, DevOps and MLOps principles.
• Experience building and supporting production APIs and machine learning services.
• A collaborative approach with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A minimum of three years' experience within Machine Learning, AI Engineering or a related field.
