Job summary

SRC Aggregates seeks an experienced Mixer Driver to operate our mixer and deliver concrete products with safety and professionalism. You will perform daily vehicle checks, manage loading, and ensure customer deliveries meet order requirements.

With a focus on excellent customer service, you will liaise with the Transport team to maintain schedule discipline, uphold HSE standards, and keep the vehicle in top condition while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a concrete environment or similar industry.
• Must have Class 2 HGV Licence and Tachograph Card.
• Willingness to adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections prior to driving.
• Check work schedule via electronic device or transport office.
• Supervise loading to keep products secure.
• Verify load with Batcher against orders.
• Ensure safe delivery on arrival and consult if unsure.
• Check goods with customers, obtain signature, log errors.
• Resolve delivery issues with Ready Mix Manager or Batcher as needed.
• Deliver promptly and provide excellent customer service.
• Drive safely and in accordance with the law.
• Comply with tachograph laws and driver hours limits.
• Maintain vehicle condition and prevent damage.
• Complete any vehicle maintenance.
• Keep driving cab clean.
• Follow fuel directives from Transport Department.
• Report accidents per procedure.
• Wear PPE around Plant and Site.
• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Act in line with HSE procedures and practices.
• Perform other duties as directed.
