Job summary

SRC Aggregates is seeking an experienced Mixer Driver to operate the mixer safely and professionally, delivering concrete products to customers and delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence and tachograph card, flexible hours, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. You will be responsible for pre-drive inspections, loading, and ensuring loads meet customer orders with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a concrete environment.
• Flexible with working hours.
• Able to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily pre-drive inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Deliver products to customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise loading to ensure loads are secure and compliant with orders.
• Verify loads against customer orders with the batcher and obtain signatures on delivery notes.
• Handle customer issues on delivery and liaise with managers for support when needed.
• Drive safely and within tachograph law and driver hours limits.
• Maintain the vehicle’s condition and cab cleanliness; perform routine maintenance as required.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental policies and directives.
