Job summary

FM Conway is seeking a Volumetric Mixer Driver to join our Transport Division in Dartford. You will deliver high-quality concrete, operate volumetric mixers safely, and ensure work meets the highest standards from Monday to Friday (06:00–16:00) at the Dartford depot.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence, a valid CPC, a Digital Tachograph Card, and prior volumetric mixer experience. A completed Urban Cycle Awareness Course is also required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and an HGV Class 2 licence.
• Carry a valid CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Completed Urban Cycle Awareness Course is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 HGV volumetric concrete mixer to and from site.
• Transport and deliver concrete to customers safely and professionally.
• Follow instructions and job allocations from your supervisor.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in line with company standards.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect sheets accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and safety procedures.

FM Conway is currently seeking a Volumetric Mixer Driver to join our Transport Division. As our Volumetric Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high quality concrete to our customers, operating volumetric concrete mixers safely and efficiently and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday 06:00- 16:00, based from our Dartford depot.

The duties of the Volumetric Mixer Driver role will include:

Driving and operating a Class 2 HGV volumetric concrete mixer to and from site

Transporting and delivering concrete to customers in a safe and professional manner

Following instructions and job allocations from your supervisor

Maintaining vehicles and equipment in line with company standards

Completing daily vehicle checks and defect sheets accurately

Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and safety procedures

What skills and experience do you need?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a volumetric concrete mixer. You should hold a full UK driving licence, a HGV Class 2 licence, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. A Completed Urban Cycle Awareness Course is also required.
