Job summary

Clark Wood is delighted to be supporting a well-established accountancy firm in Cheltenham with a Mixed Tax Senior / Associate Manager role, offering a blend of compliance, advisory and tax planning work for owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients.

You will manage a varied portfolio, provide practical tax advice, review returns, build trusted client relationships and mentor junior colleagues while collaborating with senior leaders on advisory projects to add value for clients.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or nearing qualification).
• Strong experience across personal and corporate tax.
• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Providing practical tax advice on profit extraction, restructuring, succession planning and tax-efficient business strategies.
• Reviewing tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Building trusted client relationships and becoming a key point of contact.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
• Working alongside senior leaders on advisory projects and identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
