Job summary

Clark Wood Limited in Cheltenham is seeking a Mixed Tax Senior / Associate Manager to join its growing tax team. The role offers a mix of compliance, advisory and tax planning work for owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and private clients.

You will manage personal and corporate tax portfolios, provide practical tax advice, review returns, and support junior staff. A career-focused, proactive approach is essential for progression within the team.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or nearing qualification).
• Strong experience across personal and corporate tax.
• Commercially minded and proactive with a desire to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Providing practical tax advice on a range of matters, including profit extraction, restructuring, succession planning and tax-efficient business strategies.
• Reviewing tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Building trusted client relationships and becoming a key point of contact.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
• Working alongside senior leaders on advisory projects and identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
