Job summary

MBDA is recruiting at Stevenage for a systems engineering role within the Mission Planning & Control team. You will help deliver anti-ship and deep strike capabilities across air and ship domains, collaborating with algorithms and software teams to refine system designs.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days on-site) and a salary up to £53,000, with BPSS clearance requirements. A range of benefits include a company bonus, pension contributions, and flexible leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering with emphasis on subsystem requirements and design.
• Knowledge of MBSE approaches and model-based engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience with engineering tools and configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Working within teams delivering Maritime and Land-based Anti-Ship / Deep Strike Mission Planning products.
• Generating software and algorithm requirements and supporting systems engineering activities.
• Collaborating with software and algorithm teams to ensure design meets Mission Planning needs.
• Refining design within systems architecture model and requirements modules.
• Assessing reuse opportunities across product variants.
• Supporting international partners to align engineering development with needs.
