Job summary

Chaosindustries in London is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - Software to drive deployment of CHAOS capabilities, design and build software, and integrate edge-sensor data for customer environments. You will apply ML/AI techniques and work with core engineering teams to refine product direction.

The role requires strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, plus the ability to travel up to 25% and obtain/maintain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in a related field and ability to work on complex software deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript for building and integrating software.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to customer sites and offices.
• Existing UK security clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Test, deploy, and troubleshoot CHAOS products in the field.
• Understand customer workflows and translate them into product and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with core engineering teams to prioritise feedback and drive delivery.
• Design and build new software that bridges CHAOS capabilities with customer needs.
• Integrate data from edge sensors into customer systems.
• Develop machine learning and AI solutions using sensor data to improve performance.
• Travel to customer sites and CHAOS offices as needed.
