Job summary

SiXworks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Engineer to design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments supporting Defence and National Security missions.

You will work with engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to implement credential lifecycle management, discovery and network visibility, system maintenance, access governance, and audit/compliance, driving robust security across platforms while adhering to MOD policies.

Qualifications

• Deploying and managing security tooling (vulnerability scanning, EDR Agents, etc)
• Deploying and managing identity solutions (Directory services, IdPs, Privileged Access Management solutions)
• Basic understanding of threat frameworks (such as ATT&CK)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.
• Manage credential lifecycle, including creating and rotating passwords, SSH keys, and API keys.
• Monitor and improve security posture via RBAC, audit logs, and compliance reporting.
