Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Farnborough is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our Operations Department. You will troubleshoot to component level, use Automatic Test Equipment, and contribute to the assembly and testing of highly complex radio and communications hardware used by military customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with Lean teams, meet daily targets, and support quality and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of component level troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics to aid troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing complex faults.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot to component level using ATE, schematics and debug software.
• Assemble/test highly complex assemblies for military communications.
• Track repairs using electronic systems and update records accurately.
• Ensure assemblies meet quality standards and escalate where needed.
• Apply lean manufacturing techniques and support daily targets.
