Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) is seeking a security‑focused DevOps/Cloud Engineer in the UK. You will design and maintain mission critical systems, automate deployments, and drive CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling to ensure cloud readiness and microservices deployment.

You will collaborate with Architects, Developers and Testers, applying AWS and other cloud services, while growing your skills within a flexible, hybrid team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• AWS Practitioner/Associate with cloud design, deployment, and admin experience.
• Experience creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, Maven, Bamboo).
• Automation skills with Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.
• Experience with VM/Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift in virtualised/containerised environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication using Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket).
• Solid agile background and ability to work across multiple teams.
• Cloud experience across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud; Linux/Unix administration advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain mission critical systems as part of a team.
• Automate deployment, operation and maintenance using IaC and CM tools.
• Support leads to select best-fit tools for complex projects.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring quality across SDLC stages.
• Execute migration activities to enable cloud readiness and microservices.
• Continuously develop skills and relevant certifications.
