Job summary

Bauer Media Group’s Cash for Kids is seeking a Mission Christmas HQ Co-ordinator in Fareham for November and December. You will organise the Mission Christmas HQ operations, manage volunteers and drivers, and liaise with partner organisations to ensure gifts reach children in time for Christmas morning.

You’ll handle communications with schools and communities, collect media content, and assist with moving gifts. This temporary role supports a nationwide charity effort during the festive season.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Office applications.
• Understanding of the main social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the smooth operation of Mission Christmas HQ, where gifts are received, sorted and prepared for collection by local partners.
• Manage a team of volunteers.
• Coordinate drivers who collect donated gifts from key locations.
• Liaise with Mission Christmas drop-off points and partner organisations.
• Communicate with individuals, community groups, schools and businesses fundraising for Mission Christmas.
• Collect photos, audio and video content for radio, social media and digital platforms.
• Move and lift gifts as needed.
