Job summary

Bauer Media Group's Cash for Kids charity is recruiting a Mission Christmas HQ Co-ordinator to join the Lancashire team for November and December.

You will coordinate HQ operations, manage volunteers and drivers, liaise with drop-off points and partner organisations, and help collect content for radio and social media.

Requires a UK driving licence and own transport; familiarity with Office apps and social media is essential for this temporary role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Office applications is essential.
• Understanding of main social media platforms is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the smooth operation of the Mission Christmas HQ, including gifts intake, sorting and preparation for collection.
• Manage a team of volunteers and drivers across key locations.
• Liaise with drop-off points and partner organisations to ensure gifts reach children in time for Christmas morning.
• Communicate with individuals, schools and businesses fundraising or donating to Mission Christmas.
• Collect photos, audio and video content to support Mission Christmas across radio, social media and digital platforms.
• Move and lift gifts as needed.
