Job summary

Bauer Media UK is seeking a Mission Christmas HQ Co-ordinator to join our team in Manchester for the November and December period. You will oversee the Mission Christmas HQ operations, manage volunteers and drivers, and liaise with partner organisations to ensure gifts reach children in time for Christmas morning.

The role requires a current full UK driving licence, good Office and social media skills, and a passion for making every child’s Christmas special.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Office applications is essential.
• Strong social media familiarity is desirable.
• Organised, flexible and enthusiastic about Christmas causes.
• Must have a current, full UK driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the smooth operation of Mission Christmas HQ, including gifts intake, sorting and preparation for collection by local partners.
• Manage a team of volunteers.
• Coordinate drivers collecting donated gifts from key locations.
• Liaise with Mission Christmas drop-off points and partner organisations.
• Communicate with schools, community groups and businesses supporting Mission Christmas.
• Capture photos, audio and video content to support campaigns across channels.
• Move and lift gifts as needed.
