Job summary

MBDA is offering an undergraduate Mechanical Missile Architect placement for 2027. This 1-year program starts in September 2027 and provides hands-on experience in missile architecture, verification, and project delivery.

The role includes on-site work 3–4 days a week, a company bonus pathway, and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be current undergraduates in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Production/Manufacturing Engineering, and be eligible for BPSS clearance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studying for a relevant engineering degree.
• Strong interest in missile architecture and systems engineering.
• Willingness to work on-site 3–4 days per week and undergo BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Mechanical Missile Architecture team with top-level design guidance.
• Assist in verification and validation planning for missile components.
• Contribute to project management tasks across the lifecycle and supplier interactions.
