Job summary

CRAVEN COLLEGE is seeking a committed MIS Manager to lead management information systems support. You will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of learner and funding data, working with the Head of MIS & Exams to maximise funding opportunities while maintaining robust systems and controls.

The role focuses on funding and compliance, with governance across DfE, Ofsted, awarding bodies and external agencies, ensuring data quality and timely returns within the Further Education

Qualifications

• Degree or substantial relevant experience in a similar MIS/funding role.
• Level 4 qualification is desirable.
• Significant experience in MIS, funding and compliance within FE.
• Knowledge of FE funding methods, ILR, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with statutory data returns and audit processes.

Job description

We continuously invest in our excellent, industry standard facilities with a new £1.6m purpose-built Animal Management Centre on our Aireville Campus followed in 2022 by the construction of new equestrian facilities including an international sized arena and outdoor warm up area. We are currently seeking to employ a committed and motivated MIS Manager, to play a critical leadership role in supporting the strategic and operational delivery of Management Information Systems within the college. The postholder will work alongside the Head of MIS & Exams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all learner, funding, and statutory data returns. The role has a strong focus on funding, audit compliance, and data quality, ensuring the college meets all regulatory requirements and maximises funding opportunities while maintaining robust systems, processes, and controls. The ideal candidate will lead on the operational delivery of all funding and compliance activity, ensuring the college meets the requirements of the DfE, Ofsted, awarding bodies, and other relevant external agencies.

• A relevant degree or substantial relevant experience in a similar role
• Relevant Level 4 qualification
• Significant experience working within MIS, funding, and compliance in the Further Education sector.
• Detailed knowledge of FE funding methodologies, ILR requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience of statutory data returns and audit processes.
