Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a Ministry Partnerships Manager to act as a bridge between international clients and internal teams. The role focuses on managing client contracts, maintaining excellent relationships, and coordinating cross-team delivery to ensure high-quality service across education and assessment programmes.

The position is hybrid in Cambridge, with 40-60% face-to-face collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Background in international education and educational assessment.
  • Experience of managing contracts, projects, or programmes with multiple deliverables.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and cost/budget management is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client contracts and build strong relationships with international partners.
  • Coordinate work across Cambridge University Press & Assessment teams to deliver excellent service.
  • Lead on training delivery for contracts and oversee meeting minutes and reports.
  • Chair annual review meetings and contribute to contract-related governance.
  • Conduct research on education systems and prepare updated reports as needed.
  • Support contract deliverables evaluation, risk management and lessons learned.

Salary: £35,200 – £45,700

Location: The Triangle – Cambridge (Hybrid working)

Working with Governments, Ministries of Education and National Examinations across the world.

As a member of the Ministry Partnerships Team, you will act as an umbilical link between a range of international clients and internal Cambridge University Press & Assessment departments and teams. Your drive, diplomacy and high levels of customer service will continue to inform how Cambridge supports these long-standing partners to navigate their own education and assessment journey.

About the role

TheMinistryPartnershipsManager's main responsibility is to manageclientcontracts,building an excellent relationship with clientsandcoordinating work across teams to ensure we provideexcellent service.

Additionalresponsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Produce effective plans and schedules for the delivery ofwork. Ifappropriate, manage dependencies betweenteams.
  • Lead on training delivery for your contracts and ensure effective delivery in various formats.
  • Assist Senior Ministry Partnerships Managersand the Head of Ministry Partnerships
  • Leador contribute to relevant Working Groups.
  • Chairthe Annual Review Meetings for the contracts you manage,oversee the production of the minutesand contribute to Annual Reviewmeetings of any other contracts you work on.
  • Contribute to the overall relationship management by building effective relations with clients, partnerorganisationsand internal delivery teams.
  • Provide effective written and verbal communications with all stakeholders (the client, senior teams, across Cambridgeand partner organisations, etc).
  • Carry out research on the national education systems and developments of countries you work on and provide updated reports whenrequired.
  • Lead and support activities around evaluation of contract deliverables, risk management and lessons learned.

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You

You are likely to have experience in a complex customer-facing and contract management role in an international setting with either direct experience of, or deep interest, in education development and assessment practice.

Essential knowledge
  • Educated to a degree levelor equivalent experience.
  • Background / interest in international educationand educational assessment
  • Experience of managing contracts, projects, or programmes with multiple deliverables.
