Job summary

Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions (SGIS) is seeking a Mining Training and Development Facilitator to work with the Geological & Mining Services team. The role involves travelling across UK mining sites and developing training that supports safety and continuous improvement.

You will partner with site teams to identify training needs, create practical documentation, and deliver engaging coaching to colleagues at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in training, learning & development, compliance, manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry environments.
• Ability to build credibility and strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience creating or maintaining procedures, training materials, work instructions or other technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve training, competence and operational consistency across mining operations.
• Create practical SOPs, Safe Systems of Work and training resources to support safe, efficient and compliant work.
• Deliver engaging training and coaching activities for colleagues at all levels.
• Act as trusted partner to operational leaders, providing support around people development and training compliance.
• Support continuous improvement projects and workforce development initiatives across multiple sites.
