Job summary

NEOS Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support site operations, engineering works and project delivery on a major mining project in Cornwall. You will coordinate contractors, monitor milestones and ensure safe, on-time progress in a live environment.

The role requires hands-on management of site-based projects, strong health and safety focus, and a practical approach to solving problems. SSSTS/SMSTS and PRINCE2/PMQ qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site-based projects, contractors and multiple work packages.
• Strong organisational skills and an understanding of project planning, reporting and risk management.
• A practical approach to problem-solving and coordinating site activities.
• Good communication skills and a strong focus on health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project delivery across a mining and engineering environment.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, site teams and equipment installation works.
• Monitor project programmes, milestones, resources and progress against deadlines.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, risks and any issues affecting delivery.
• Ensure works meet health and safety requirements, quality standards and project specifications.
• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to keep activities on track.
