Job summary

NEOS Engineering is recruiting a hands-on Project Manager to support site operations, engineering works and project delivery on a major mining project in Cornwall. You will coordinate contractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality across multiple work packages.

The role requires managing site-based projects with a practical, problem-solving approach and strong communication to keep activities on track and to programme.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site-based projects, contractors and multiple work packages.
• Strong organisational skills for planning, reporting and risk management.
• Practical problem-solving and coordination of site activities.
• Excellent communication and a focus on health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day project delivery across mining and engineering environment.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, site teams and equipment installs.
• Monitor programmes, milestones, resources and progress against deadlines.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, risks and issues.
• Ensure works meet health and safety, quality standards and specs.
• Work with engineering and operations to keep activities on track.

Education

SSSTS or SMSTS

Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)

APM PMQ or PRINCE2

HNC/HND or degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Mining

IOSH or NEBOSH
