Job summary

Gloucester Charities Trust is seeking a part-time minibus driver to transport older people to events, appointments, and social activities in Gloucester. You will provide safe, friendly transport and help maintain independence for service users.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement and involves DBS check funded by the charity. Flexible weekday hours are typical, with a 16-hour schedule and 12.74 GBP per hour initially.

GCT is a local housing and care charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people, and we’re looking for a reliable, caring Part-Time Minibus Driver to join our team. Please note, this post requires an Enhanced DBS check which is carried out at GCT’s expense.

About the Role

You will provide safe, friendly transportation for older people to and from events, appointments, and social activities. Your role will help reduce isolation, support wellbeing and encourage independence in later life.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive our minibus on scheduled routes

• Ensure passenger comfort and wellbeing during journeys

What We’re Looking For
