Job summary

Country Court is seeking a Minibus Driver to cover patient transport between our Homes across Selwood, Castle Lodge, Westbury and Chippenham. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with the vehicle based at one of the Homes, and a permanent contract.

You will ensure residents travel safely and comfortably, maintain a courteous and caring approach, and assist with upkeep of the minibus. Applicants must have a FULL UK Driving License (2+ years) including category D1 and be over 25 for insurance

Qualifications

• Must have a FULL UK Driving License for 2 years or more and category D1.
• Over 25 years of age for insurance reasons.
• Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential.
• Able to engage well with residents and their families, with a friendly, caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive minibus between our Homes in Selwood, Castle Lodge, Westbury & Chippenham.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and ensure their safety during journeys.
• Keep the minibus clean and well maintained, and report any issues.
• Be flexible to cover other days as required; vehicle based at a home.

• Covering our Homes in Selwood, Castle lodge, Westbury & ChippenhamHours: 36 Hours per week over 4 days ABOUT THE MINIBUS DRIVER ROLEOur minibus drivers will have several local Homes to drive for, planning effectively with each Home to maximise its use in a fair and agreeable rota, helping our Residents move to and from their destination with ease.

The vehicle will be based at one of the homes.

You may also be needed to cover other days of the week on occasions.Provide excellent customer service to our residents.Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issuesKeep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.ABOUT YOUAre you kind-hearted, calm under pressure, patient and knowledgeable in driving?
