Job summary

Staffordshire Schools Multi Academy Trust is seeking a casual pool driver to operate school minibuses, transporting pupils between schools, to swimming lessons, and on trips and fixtures. The role is zero-hours and term-time only, with pre-booked hours known in advance and can be called upon as needed.

You must hold a full clean driving licence, pass the Staffordshire County Council minibus driving test, pass a medical, and have an enhanced DBS check.

A casual pool role driving minibuses for the Staffordshire Schools Multi Academy Trust, with vehicles stored at Richard Crosse Primary in Kings Bromley and St Mary's Primary in Colton. The work is taking pupils between schools, to swimming lessons, and on trips and sporting fixtures, mostly on local routes. It is zero hours and term time only, with variable hours known in advance and the trust calling on drivers as needed. Fit depends on a full clean licence, the county minibus test and medical, and an enhanced DBS; visa sponsorship is not available.
