Mini Bus Driver

Part time

£13.50 per hour

Exeter

Start date: immediate

We are looking for an experienced mini bus driver for our client in Exeter. This job will involve driving a school mini bus to nominated pick-up points and collecting and dropping off students.

As a mini bus driver you must:

• Have a valid CPC card with PCV requirements
• Have a valid Tachograph card
• No more than 3 penalty points due to insurance purposes
• Have an Enhanced DBS check

The Mini Bus Driver responsibilities include:

• Driving the school mini bus to nominated pick-up points, collecting the students and bringing them to the school for the start of the school day.
• At the end of the school day, ensuring the same students are returned to the original pick-up points.
• Having a courteous and welcoming manner, as dealing with Students, Parents and all staff.
• Having a flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changing requirements.
• Must enjoy working as part of a team.

Specific Responsibilities:

• To record beginning and end mileage in the correct record book
• To ensure the mini bus is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure mini bus has sufficient fuel at all times

The successful candidate can expect:

• Working Monday to Friday, term time only
• Starting approximately 06:00 to 08:30 and then again starting approximately 15:45 to 18:00.
• Pay rate starts at £12.05 per hour plus £1.45 per hour equals £13.50 per hour on PAYE advanced.
