We are currently accepting applications to join our team in Minehead.

About the Role

As a Bus Driver, you will be an essential part of our community, providing reliable transportation services that our customers count on daily. Your responsibilities will include safely transporting passengers to work, school, and appointments, as well as assisting those running errands or attending events. Ensuring a smooth and secure journey, you will play a vital role in connecting local residents and supporting their daily lives.

These are permanent, full-time positions, working 39 hours per week across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualified Drivers will earn £14.02 per hour.

Trainee Drivers will earn £13.02 per hour, rising to £14.02 after 12 months.

PCV Licence Holders

Qualified drivers can receive a £3,000 bonus, paid in two instalments over 12 months (after 6 and 12 months of service). To qualify, you must not have worked for First Bus in the last 12 months.

Information for Trainees

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 6 months driving experience. No prior experience with large vehicles is required, as extensive training will be provided on our modern buses.
