Job summary

Intuitive Thinking Skills is recruiting Employment Specialists in Milton Keynes. The role supports individuals with disabilities or health conditions to secure sustainable employment, offering bespoke guidance and building relationships with referral partners and employers.

You’ll work primarily with health-related support needs, manage a caseload, and operate in a hybrid model from local hubs and community locations to maximise accessibility and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs.
• Learning disability awareness and self-development knowledge.
• Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of SEQF or IPS/Supported employment standards.
• Knowledge of the employability industry and recruitment industry.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed personal performance targets, KPIs and quality metrics.
• Manage a caseload of referred customers with learning disabilities.
• Undertake in-depth assessments to understand barriers to progression to employment.
• Create tailored action plans with SMART targets for progression.
• Coordinate with local partners and employers to source opportunities.
• Develop in-work support plans with participants and employers.

Education

Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent
