Job summary

Tilda, part of the EBRO group, is seeking an experienced mill lead to supervise the Classic milling facility in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. You will guide a team of millers and intake operatives, drive KPI performance, and implement safety, quality and lean improvements across shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree or NVQ level qualification in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership roles in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with HACCP, NEBOSH or IOSH is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead a milling team and drive safety and quality improvements.
• Strong data-driven approach with KPI reporting and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a mill team, ensuring safe high-quality food production and meeting KPIs.
• Direct leadership for the mill team, including shift planning and training.
• Drive improvements in yield, OEE and cost control across milling operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize mill performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, quality systems and SOPs; manage contractors.
