Job summary

AB Agri Ltd in Cupar is hiring a Mill Operative to join a small team. You will operate the press lines, manage the mill area and assist with maintenance, while ensuring quality and feed safety at all times.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off rota (days and nights), a 48-hour week and a salary of £37,476.07 per year with pension contributions matched up to 10% and access to flexible benefits to support development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production environment, ideally food or agriculture.
• Ability to work with automated plant machinery and flexible to support mill needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Teams and Excel) and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and feed safety is a priority during production.
• Complete daily production plan following KPI targets.
• General mill cleaning – hovering, mopping and hygiene.
• Provide accurate information on raw material and stock for planning, including stock takes.
• Support maintenance teams to communicate issues and assist with basic maintenance duties.
• Support the wider mill team with projects or ad hoc work.
