Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is hiring a Class 1 Ex Farm Milk Tanker Driver for theEvercreech region. The role involves milk collection from farms, delivery to the dairy, and sample labelling for testing. It requires a UK Class 1 CE Licence and a DCPC card, with training provided for milk tanker duties.

You will work a 5 on / 3 off day shift (06:00–16:30), on a rural route with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts at enhanced rates. Team collaboration and safety are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence and a current DCPC card.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card is required.
• Milk tanker experience is advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take on essential role collecting fresh milk from local farms and delivering to the dairy.
• Label milk samples correctly for lab testing in line with quality and food safety requirements.
• Embrace a variety of tasks including farm collections and occasional transhipment work.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time and to client standards.
• Drive rural routes and enjoy countryside driving while remaining safety-conscious.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone for safety and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and report progress or issues.
• Participate in regular training to stay up to date with industry standards.
