Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd in Evercreech is seeking a Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver to join their transport team. You will deliver fresh milk to the dairy and handle a variety of rural and motorway routes.

Shifts are 4 on 4 off, starting around 02:00–03:00, with a night shift premium. You will perform daily vehicle checks, liaise with the transport team, and complete training to stay compliant.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with milk tankers is preferred; full training provided.
• Strong customer service focus; able to meet deadlines.

• Take on the fulfilling task of delivering fresh milk to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is made with care and precision.
• Engage in a variety of driving experiences, from mostly rural routes through scenic countryside to motorway journeys.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining consistently high standards.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Competitive Salary: £17.92 per hour, based on working 10 hours per shift. PLUS for all hours worked between 22:00hrs & 05:59hrs, you will receive an additional £2.25 per hour.
