Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a professional LGV Class 1 driver for night shifts on a 7-week rolling rota. You will collect from local farms, transport milk tankers to the processing facility, and perform daily vehicle checks with the company phone.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.98, equating to about £41,452 per year, with overtime at enhanced weekend rates. Training in DCPC and milk-tanker operations is provided, and a strong team culture is emphasised.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with milk tankers would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.

• Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

Competitive Salary: £18.98 per hour, equating to £41,452 per annum, based on working 10.5 hours per shift.

Shift Hours: 17:00hrs - 03:30hrs, on a 7-week rota. The rota consists of 3 weeks on a 5on 3off rota, followed by 3 weeks on a 4on 4off rota.

Overtime: Paid at an hourly rate. Enhanced rates for working additional weekend shifts.
