Job summary

Staff One, Ltd in Rotherham is seeking an experienced MIG welder to undertake welding and fabrication of structural steel for construction projects. You will work from detailed engineering drawings and use workshop machinery.

This full-time role starts ASAP, runs for 3 months, with day shifts 6am-2pm and night shifts 8pm-6am when required, and offers on-site parking and a hands-on, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 12 months MIG welding experience
• Full PPE provided and required
• Recent references relevant to the role

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of structural and construction steel
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling steel components
• Using workshop machinery including grinders and OXY cutting equipment
• General workshop duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
