Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group in Rotherham is seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a leading steel fabrication specialist. You will read engineering drawings and fabricate and weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components in a busy workshop.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with day shifts, and a chance to contribute to bespoke projects while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder Fabricator in a fabrication/engineering environment.
• Strong MIG welding skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

• Fabricate and assemble mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components.

Position: MIG Welder

Location: Rotherham,

Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hr

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join our skilled team at a leading steel fabrication specialist based in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke metal fabrication projects in a well-equipped workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Fabricate and assemble mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
• Perform high-quality MIG welding
• Operate workshop equipment such as saws, drills, and press brakes
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a fabrication or engineering environment
• Strong MIG welding skills and ability to work from technical drawings
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
