Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a MIG welder Fabricator based in Kirkby. The role includes MIG welding and fabrication on biomass and renewable energy projects, with full training on pipefitting.

You will work from drawings and progress towards coded welding qualifications, in a Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm schedule. Benefit from TOIL and Christmas shutdown and be part of a growing energy sector, gaining hands-on experience across biomass boiler systems and plant rooms while developing

Qualifications

• Experienced MIG welder / Fabricator
• Willing to develop pipe fitting skills
• Keen to work towards coded welding qualifications
• Commutable to Kirkby

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication on biomass and renewable energy projects
• Work from engineering drawings to produce pipework and fabrications
• Specialist training to develop pipe fitting skills
• Opportunity to work towards coded welding qualifications
• Varied work across biomass boilers, plant rooms and installations
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
• TOIL – up to two weeks' additional time off
