Job summary

Ethero in Sandbach is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to support growing production needs. You will read fabrication drawings and weld heavy steel sections with minimal supervision, delivering accurate components and safe workmanship.

The role is hands-on in a busy workshop with standard hours Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 and Fri 07:30-13:30; £15.00 per hour PAYE, weekly pay, with pension and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• MIG welding of heavy steel fabrications.
• Work to quality standards and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of heavy steel fabrications.
• Working from engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Fabricating one-off and short-run assemblies.
• Measuring, fitting, and assembling fabricated components.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and finish.
• Supporting production output targets safely and efficiently.
