Job summary

Tandem Personnel is recruiting for a MIG Welder / Fabricator in the Woodbridge area to join a small, friendly engineering team. The role covers MIG welding, fabrication, and sub-assembly, with work on varied projects and the opportunity to progress.

The ideal candidate may be fully qualified with strong MIG and fabrication experience or someone with some welding exposure who is keen to learn. Salary is £16.00 per hour for experienced welders or £13.00–£14.00 for less experienced candidates, on a

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
• Able to read engineering drawings and follow technical specifications.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials
• Fabricate and assemble components to specifications and drawings
• Carry out sub-assembly work and weld components together
• Work on larger fabricated structures and transportation ramp assemblies
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with a small team to meet production deadlines
