Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled MIG Welder fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will fabricate and weld metal components with precision, following technical drawings and safety guidelines.

You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, perform cutting, finishing and quality checks, and contribute to assembling fabricated parts into final products. This role offers a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract with a daytime shift from 07:30 to 16:30.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge related to assembly and material handling.
• Strong safety awareness in welding/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts per drawings.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and instructions.
• Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using tools.
• Fabricate, grind, and finish metal surfaces.
• Conduct quality checks on welds and finished products.
• Maintain clean, safe work area following health and safety rules.
• Assist in assembling finished parts into final products.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and perform basic maintenance.
