Job Title: MIG Welder Fabricator

Location: Netherfield, Nottingham, England, United Kingdom

Our client, based in Netherfield, is currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join their family-run and well-established team. The company specializes in the structural industry, including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, and balconies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work within the heavy steel industry, welding using drawings, and measuring angles and measurements.
2. Fabricate from scratch and confidently take projects from start to finish.
3. Work with mild steel and some stainless steel, gauges up to 120mm.
4. Operate machinery including grinders, press, and guillotine.
5. Check own work with confidence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Time-served Welder or Fabricator.
• Ability to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges.
• Desirable: Overhead crane license.
• Knowledge of TIG welding is advantageous but not essential, as the role mainly involves MIG welding.

Package and Working Hours:

• £15 per hour, with overtime paid at a premium.
• Permanent role, day shifts, Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 13:00.
• On-site parking available.
