Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd in Gloucester is seeking skilled MIG Welder Fabricators to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. You will fabricate and weld (fillet & butt) mild and stainless steel to fabrication drawings while adhering to health and safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include fabricating and repairing steel structures, inspecting welds, using a range of tools to prepare material, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience in fabricating and welding mild and stainless steel.
• Ability to work from fabrication drawings and follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair steel structures.
• Inspect weld quality to required standards.
• Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment.
• Ensure health and safety at the workstation.

A bespoke steel structural engineering company in Gloucester require MIG Welder Fabricators to work from Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will fabricate and weld ( Fillet & Butt ) mild and stainless steel as per fabrication drawings and within health and safety guidelines whilst meeting the companies quality standards.

• Use various equipment and hand tools to prepare material
• Responsible for health and safety of work station at all times
