Job description

We’re currently recruiting for a Heavy MIG Welder/Fabricator to facilitate our brand-new customer cell. You’ll work with the latest robotic welding systems and high-quality 4mm materials, playing a critical role in delivering products that exceed customer expectations.

£14.00-£17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of brand-new robotic welding equipment in a designated cell.
  • Fabricate metal components, ensuring precision and quality every time.
  • Interpret technical drawings and utilise custom jigs for tack welding.
  • Inspect welded components for top quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to enhance processes and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Capture shop floor data accurately, aligning with company policies.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in Heavy MIG Welding (1 year minimum).
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safety.
  • Basic computer literacy for accessing digital instructions and logs.
  • Bonus: Other welding experience and a background in sheet metal work.

Interview Requirement: A weld test will be part of the interview process to showcase your skills.
