On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Skilled MIG Welder based in the Rochdale area. The successful candidate will be joining a sheet metal and fabrication company who are well established in the industry. In this role, you will be working across diverse sectors, offering variety and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality MIG Welding on stainless steel
2. Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings with precision
3. Ensure reliability and punctuality while managing personal workloads effectively
4. Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
5. Maintain a high standard of work while adhering to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to perform high-level MIG welds that meet the company’s quality standards, with knowledge including:
• Use of various measuring equipment
• Reading and understanding engineering plans
• Fabrication experience (advantage)
• FLT Counterbalance (advantage)
• IT literacy for data purposes

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:00.
