Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Northampton is seeking an experienced MIG Structural Steel Welder to join their fabrication team. You will weld structural components from engineering drawings and ensure welds meet quality standards.

The role operates in a busy workshop, with a day shift pattern and long-term opportunities within a leading structural steel business. The ideal candidate will have proven MIG welding experience, be safety-conscious and detail-focused, and able to read fabrication

Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a well-established structural steel contractor based in Northampton, delivering large-scale projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Structural Steel Welder to join their fabrication team.

This role would suit a welder with a solid background in structural steel fabrication and site-ready workmanship standards.

The Role:

• MIG welding of structural steel components
• Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
• Welding beams, columns, frames, and associated steelwork
• Ensuring welds meet quality and industry standards
• Working within a busy fabrication workshop environment

Requirements:
