6am-3pm Mon-Thurs, 6am-11am Fri

Drivers license: Highly desirable based on location.

The Role

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Welding various thicknesses of mild steel (1mm-15mm).
• Grinding and polishing finished goods.
• Quality Control: Inspect welded components for accuracy and quality, adjusting as necessary.
• Maintenance: Maintain and clean equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.

Experience Needed

• Previous welding experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding steel of various thicknesses.
• Welding Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to welding work, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Safety Conscious: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
