Job summary

Office Angels (Ashford) seeks a skilled MIG Welder to join a busy production team on the outskirts of Ashford. You will weld to engineering drawings, maintain high quality standards and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment with standard hours 8:00am–5:30pm and occasional overtime. Own transport is required for the location.

Qualifications

• MIG production welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and dependable approach to work.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Pay rate: £16.10 per hour - Please be aware this rate will increase after training

Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking to join a successful and established business? Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable individual to become part of their friendly and supportive production team on the outskirts of Ashford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong welding background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality products, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets company quality standards.

Key duties include:

• Carrying out MIG welding in both production and bench environments


• Reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings


• Producing products to a consistently high standard


• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies


• Supporting other areas of the manufacturing department when required


• Working collaboratively as part of a stable and experienced team
