Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking Mig/Tig welders for a temporary to permanent position in Melton Mowbray. The role is to weld in a busy workshop environment, following drawings and quality control procedures, with opportunities for full-time permanent placement for the right candidate.

Hours are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at time and a quarter during the week and time and a half on Saturdays. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Mig or Tig welding experience in a workshop environment.
• Willing to complete part or all apprenticeship training or be fully skilled.
• Immediate start for the right candidate would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds using Mig or Tig methods in a workshop to drawings and specifications.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and welding procedures and standards.
• Supports tooling setup and basic QC tasks as required.
