Job summary

TEC Partners Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for a Welder/Fabricator to join their workshop team in the West End.

You will fabricate structural steel and sheet metal components from technical drawings, perform MIG and TIG welding, and operate workshop machinery. The role includes occasional on-site work, with emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience (3+ years).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• CSCS card holder.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel and sheet metal components from engineering drawings.
• Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
• Operate workshop machinery including saws, guillotines, rollers, drills and grinders.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety and project specifications.
• Work with colleagues to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow health and safety procedures.
• Support site-based fabrication work as required.
