Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is hiring skilled MIG/TIG welders for a permanent role in Lye, DY9. You will work in a busy workshop, performing high-quality welds using MIG and TIG techniques to fabricate and assemble metal components. Hours are Mon-Thu 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-1pm, with a rate of £15.19 per hour.

The role requires reliability, good communication, and ability to read technical drawings, with duties spanning fabrication, assembly and ensuring production schedules are met.

Qualifications

• Experienced MIG/TIG welder.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• IT literate and able to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise MIG and TIG welding on mild and hard steel.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
• Assist in assembling components per drawings and specs.
• Complete a wide range of fabrications to meet production schedules.
• Welding thickness ranging from 2.5mm to 20mm.
• Ensure tooling, jigs and fixtures meet production requirements.
• Manufacture fabrications to drawings or customer requirements.
• Carry out other welding duties as required.
