Job Description

CALLING WELDERS IN DERBY!

Our client based in Derby (DE6) is currently seeking an experienced welder to join their small team.

Our client stores and supplies scaffolding supplies around Europe. As a welder, you will be working with goods on-site to get them cut and ready to go out depending on clients' specifications.

Applicants will have:

1. Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/measurements.
2. Experienced in MIG / TIG welding.
3. Proficient in additional fabrication skills, including grinding and fettling, to ensure a high-quality finish.
4. Comfortable working in a heavy engineering environment.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role pays an impressive hourly rate of £15.00.

Working Hours: You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, then 08:00-16:00 Friday, these shifts involve a 1-hour unpaid break.

Applicants for this role are required to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own car.
