About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our growing team in Alcester. This is a hands-on role with varied tasks, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy workshop environment. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality fabricated components using MIG and TIG welding, operating a brake press, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Operate a brake press and ensure components meet quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Maintain timesheets and adhere to all health & safety procedures.
• Support the team in meeting production goals and take pride in the finished product.
• Opportunity to cross-train on CNC machines and laser cutting equipment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience welding a range of materials (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium).
• Confident welding material thicknesses from 1mm to 20mm.
• Previous work in a fabrication or engineering workshop is essential.
• Skilled in brake press operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Reliable team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
